Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for an individual with mechanical skills to ensure equipment and facilities function reliably and efficiently.   You will be involved in preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, to minimise downtime, reduce costs and maximise productivity.  Good electrical fault finding skills would be advantageous to support our busy production facility.  As part of the role you are expected to carry out related administration tasks.   You will ensure statutory Health & Safety legislation and procedures are adhered to at all times.  

Hours of work for this permanent position are 40 hours per week, working Monday, 7.30am - 4.30pm, Tuesday -Thursday, 7am - 4.30pm and Friday, 7.30am - 12 noon.  You will be required to be flexible to cover shifts at peak production time, including call out, overtime and weekend work.

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate: -

      A good practical knowledge of mechanical machinery.

      Knowledge of electrical control systems.

      Good communication skills.

      The ability to adapt and improvise under breakdown conditions.

      Enthusiastic and reliable with a can-do attitude.

      Work as part of a team but also have the ability to work alone.
